Eufy, owned by Anker is now a household name in the world of robots that are budget-friendly vacuums. But it didn't provide an option to mop. The X8 Hybrid is a new model that has a wide range of modern features and can compete with much more expensive models.
Laser navigation is the most important feature of this machine. The previous Eufy devices have constructed an outline of your home by using infrared sensors and bumping into things however the X8's laser mapping technology is far more precise. It takes less time to build an accurate map of your home. It can also store multiple maps. This is perfect for multi-floored homes.
The X8 is a decent vacuum cleaner for floors that are clean. It can easily sling debris under the side brushes and into its 400ml dust bin. The tyres are adept at hugging edges and corners, even though they're circular. Our tests revealed that it was able to remove 90 percent of the fur on hard floors.
The mopping mode that is the basic one uses the same water reservoir as the vacuuming mode. Its composite score for flooring and carpet beat the competition, and it was able to pick up 98.5 percent of surface litter and embedded dog hair from our laboratory test samples.
The controls are simpler than the competition's. There's a clean button at the top, and you can start it by using the app or voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also schedule weekly or daily cleanings, designate no-go zones, and look up its cleaning history. Covered in stylish dark gray plastics, Ion feels sturdy and looks attractive in your home. The rear dust bin is accessible for emptying and cleaning the filter is equally easy.
5. Eufy 11S
Eufy 11S is an excellent choice if you want a robot vacuum that's simple and doesn't have any frills at a reasonable price. We really like the 980 due to its iAdapt2.0 navigation sensors and its visual simultaneity mapping and localisation (or vSLAM) to store the floor plan of your home. It uses this information to create a consistent, efficient cleaning path for each cycle. The result is cleaner floors, and a cleaner vacuum than other high-end robot vacuums.
Other features of the 980 include dual multi-surface brushes which grab dirt on hard floors and carpets and the spinning brush that sweeps debris into the robotic vacuum’s bin. The floor tracking sensor assists it in maneuvering between furniture, along edges and on steps. Cliff Detect prevents the Roomba from falling. It will automatically return to its base station to ensure hassle-free recharges between sessions. The bin capacity and the battery life of the 980 aren't as great as other robot vacuums. However, it is an extremely reliable and sturdy machine that can keep floors clean for a long time. hours.
