This smart robot vacuum and mop is a fantastic option for a wide range of homes. It features a superb navigation system with GPS and laser sensors. It also comes with numerous features and controls accessible via the app. It comes with a useful feature that lets you create Cleaning zones in areas that require additional attention, and also to create Keep Out zones in areas you do not want it to go. 2. Eufy RoboVac Hybrid X8
Eufy, owned by Anker It has become an iconic name in the world of low-cost robot vacuums. However, it did not provide the option of a model that could mop. That's changed with the X8 Hybrid, which has an impressive suite of advanced features and is able to compete against more expensive models.
The main selling point of Eufy's this device is its laser navigation. The X8 utilizes a laser mapping system that is more accurate than previous Eufy devices. It also takes significantly less time to construct a comprehensive picture of your home and can store multiple maps, which is great for homes with multiple floors.
The X8 is a good vacuum cleaner on bare floors. It is able to effortlessly sling debris under the side brushes and into its 400ml dust bin. Its tyres are also very adept at securing corners and edges, even though they're circular. It's not a fantastic cat litter picker, though, with our tests showing it is able to remove around 90 percent of the fur from hard floors.
There's a basic mopping mode which uses the same water tank as the vacuuming one. While this is a good option for spills that are not too large, you can't regulate the amount of water it consumes which can limit its effectiveness on more severe staining. It does a good job of removing hair from pets. It has a higher pick-up rate than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
The company is known for its quiet home appliances Miele's RX2 robot vacuum has excellent cleaning power, gorgeous design and great navigation. But it has a few operational oddities that keep it from ranking as the top overall smart robot vacuum.
Similar to the latest models of iRobot like the RX2 comes with a dual-sensor mapping system which uses an LIDAR sensor to map an area and three 3D scanning cameras that can detect and avoid obstacles (like furniture legs or pet waste) in real-time. After the room has been identified it is possible to assign virtual no go areas and favorite sections to the robot. You can also alter the cleaning modes, initiate a manual clean or watch live feeds of the cameras onboard from the main screen.
The RX2 has excellent sensors that detect furniture and other obstructions immediately. The suction and sweeping abilities are outstanding, effectively removing surface litter from carpets with medium pile as well as embedded dust on bare floors. It's not the fastest robotics on the market. Like many others it's not a very good climber and is prone to problems with things like metal threshold transition strips.

Its navigational skills were also impressive and its overall score on carpet and bare floors beat out the competition, and it took in 98.5 percent of the surface pet hair and litter from our lab test samples.
Its controls are a bit more basic than those of the competition; there's an oblong cleaning button at the top, and you can launch it via the app or via voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also create a schedule for weekly or daily cleans, create areas that are not allowed to be cleaned, and check its history of cleaning. Ion is covered in a smart dark gray plastic that is both attractive and appealing in your home. The dust bin on the rear is easy to access for emptying and cleaning the filter is equally easy.
5. Eufy 11S
If you're looking for a basic low-cost robot vacuum at a reasonable cost, the Eufy 11S is a great option. It doesn't have many of the more advanced features, such as digital mapping and Alexa integration, which are found in higher-end models but if you're not looking for these features, you can save a little money by purchasing this model.
This robot is easy to use and set up. It doesn't require smartphone application or Wi-Fi pairing. However, it does come with an remote control that allows you to choose between different modes and alter the suction levels. You can also send the robotvac on the schedule of cleaning.
In our tests, the 11S was extremely efficient in cleaning dirt and pet hair from hard floors and low-pile carpets. Its slim profile made it easier to reach under furniture and other low items that more bulkier robots were unable to reach. It could also easily get over thresholds for doors and move between floors and another.
Like other robots, the 11S is able to be able to suck up objects, such as cords drawstrings for hoodies and cat toys. The manufacturer states that you can avoid this by keeping these items off the floor and using a cord organizer if possible. It also recommends that you clean the dustbin, replace the filters and clean or change the brushes as required.

It's a powerful robot vacuum, even if its application is a bit slow and the 980 spins when rolling over cables.
One thing we love about the 980 is that it makes use of its iAdapt 2.0 navigation sensors and visual simultaneous localisation and mapping technology (or vSLAM) to memorise the floor plan of your home. It then uses the information to create an efficient and consistent cleaning path for each cycle. The result is cleaner floors, and a more efficient vacuum than most competing high-end robot vacuums.
Other features include two multi-surface rubber brushes which grab dirt from carpet and hard floors, along with an ejector brush that moves debris into the robotic vacuum's bin. The floor tracking sensor assists in navigating through furniture as well as along edges and stairs. Cliff Detect prevents the Roomba from falling. It will also return to the base station for easy recharging in between sessions. The bin capacity and battery life of the 980 aren't as impressive as other robot vacuums.
